I like the box but we are very disappointed that the Raccoon has 4 holes in it and the tail is barely hanging on, literally by a thread.

AMAZING. We're in week two and despite struggling for years she slept in her own room, all night, by herself. SUCCESS!!!
Our daughter loved every part of what was in the box.
When my son opened his bedtime box, he immediately snatched Remy and began to cuddle him--which surprised me as he is 9 and had recently sworn off stuffies. He immediately opened the Breathing Buddy and was trying out different types of breathing exercises before we had finished unpacking the rest of the box. Formerly a kiddo who would not even go upstairs alone at any time of day, especially not bedtime, he began announcing "I need to get upstairs and do my breathing" and marching upstairs on his own on Day 2. He told me one morning that he "dreams better when he does Box Breathing." And his bedtime has become a routine that he now leads--successfully falling asleep on his own for the first time in YEARS.
When it was time to take his very first state mandated standardized test a few weeks later--something he has been worrying about since first grade, his teacher told me he asked for time to "do his breathing" and then traced a moon shape on his hand to calm down before the test. The Bedtime Box has sparked my son's interest in exploring mindfulness strategies but most importantly has given him a sense of agency and curiosity about different strategies to manage all kinds of big feelings. We are SO grateful for everything about this!
I have two little ones, 6 and 4, who are terrified of monsters and the dark. They have been sleeping in our room. I love how excited they were to do the activities right out of the box. We are taking it really slow and introducing experiments slow especially for my four year old since she is so young. I love how it opened dialogue between my six year old. I hadn’t realized all of his fears and worries until we talked about it. It was as if a weight was lifted from him. They both don’t want to be afraid of the dark and are excited to do more activities. I wish the sleep meditations were just a little longer but I end up either repeating them a couple times or add in some extra breaths.
My 6-year-old recently received her Bedtime Box, and it has been such a huge help! I love that the program still allows me to be part of bedtime—my daughter loves that too! We’ve both been getting better sleep lately, and I’m so thankful.
She loved the scavenger hunt in the dark—she was soooo excited to do it! Activities like that are right up her alley. And ever since we opened the box, she’s been sleeping with her raccoon and the nightlight every single night.
This program has really made such a difference for us, thank you!
She’s sleeping through the night much better now! She still feels a little anxious about skeletons at night, but I’ve been using the language from the book to acknowledge her fears and help her—and it’s making a difference. She named the raccoon Rags and LOVES him so much. She even used the stress ball during her surgery and loved how it fit perfectly between her fingers.
My twins absolutely love this kit! From the Raccoon that heats up, to the flash cards to help them get to sleep and breathing night light that helps them get back to sleep if they wake up! Highly recommend. Great tips and tools for parents too! Thank you!
I bought the box for a friend who has a child who is 10 and still has trouble sleeping. The presentation of the box and the wrapping inside was perfect. Even though the child is a bit older the child loved it and got comfort from it. I am thinking this "box" has use for a wider range of children and maybe even adults! Thanks for the hard work and research and the attention to detail. Mary RN
